The Spirit of Prophecy Vindicated

We have a Fresh New Look!

~ The Meet-Up Page ~

Because of the last day's perils God's people face, this special page is put up, for helping in a small way, them to connect with each other. One of the perils is the theft of our finances through the tool of inflation and it's concomitant effect on our wellbeing.(Use your imagination)

God has foreseen all this and given us important light on this very subject.

"I was shown years ago that God's people would be tested upon this point of making homes for the homeless. That there would be many without homes in consequence of their believing the truth. Opposition and persecution would deprive believers of their homes. And it was the duty of those who have homes to open a wide door to those who have not. I have been shown more recently that God would especially test his professed people in reference to this matter. Christ for our sakes became poor that we through his poverty might be made rich. He made a sacrifice that he might provide a home for pilgrims and strangers in the world seeking for a better country, even an heavenly. Shall those who are subjects of his grace, who are expecting to be heirs of immortality, refuse, or even feel reluctant to share their homes with the homeless and needy? Must the strangers be refused entrance to our doors, who are disciples of Jesus, because they can claim no acquaintance with any of its inmates?" p. 18, Para. 3, [15OT].

If you would like to participate in this process, here is what you should do.

1.) Write up a paragraph about your situation, what you have to offer, or, what you need.

2.) Create a web-based email address (me@yahoo, or, gmail, or, hotmail, &c.)

3.) Email me your writeup, using your web-based email address. I will post that email on the page with your writeup. Interested parties can contact you through that email, which you will monitor.

Both parties to a meetup should be sure and follow due diligence about personal security concerns. Make sure you check each other out, before going beyond the point of no return. It will be expensive to do anything of this nature, so be careful. In addition you should be sure the other party is faithful to this message. Failure to do so will defraud one party, and may deny resources to God's own true people.

I would also caution against doing anything in haste. Being in a rush, some pressing need, an urgency, is a hallmark of people who defraud. Let God work it out in time.

I will here add a passage you need to be aware of.

"God has not apportioned you your lot, to merely watch over and care for yourselves. You are required to minister to, and watch over, others, and in this exercise you will develop your errors, that you may correct them, and will strengthen the weak points in your character that need strengthening. To remove from us everything which is not exactly agreeable, is not imitating Christ. This is the part of the work we have to perform; not impatiently, fretfully, unwillingly, but cheerfully, gladly, in order to reach Christian perfection." p. 71, Para. 1, [16OT].

In the early days of this faith, many went to Battle Creek with less than honorable intentions. Only God can read the heart. Make sure you are following his guidance, BEFORE you extend an offer.

If you are one of God's people who needs a home, you need to be a proven worker. This is not a welfare program. If someone opens their home to you, you need to do all in your power to lighten the burden of your presence until the day you leave.

The reverse is also true. Finding someone who needs a home is not finding a slave to work for you, doing what you need done.

All need to be following Christ and like the first Christians "had all things common." Now after saying that, we here post the rules for Basic Training, because common sense is not so common.

1.) If you open it, CLOSE IT!

2.) If you turn it on, TURN IT OFF!

3.) If you unlock it, LOCK IT!

4.) If you break it, REPAIR IT!

5.) If you can't fix it, CALL IN SOMEONE WHO CAN!

6.) If you borrow it, RETURN IT!

7.) If you use it, TAKE CARE OF IT!

8.) If you make a mess, CLEAN IT UP NOW, NOT LATER!

9.) If you move it, PUT IT BACK!

10.) If it belongs to someone else, GET PERMISSION TO USE IT!

11.) If you don't know how to use it, LEAVE IT ALONE!

12.) If it doesn't concern you, DON'T MESS WITH IT!

Following these guidelines may help, following Christ will.

There you have it.
